Seasonal Production Positions Available
The Virginia Arts Festival, entering its 26th season, is a 10 week festival with a 75-plus performance schedule. We are currently seeking experienced individuals for our Seasonal Production Staff. Experience in one or some of the following areas preferred: Stage Management, Wardrobe, Lighting/Electrics, Company Management, Sound, General Run Crew, Event Management, Backstage Hospitality. Employment dates vary according to position and event and staff are typically scheduled on an as needed basis. There is some pre-season work available, but most work opportunities can begin late March and continue through the beginning of July.

Virginia Arts Festival Marketing/Public Relations Intern(s)
REPORTS TO: Marketing Department
We are looking for proactive, resourceful, and outgoing Marketing/Public Relations Interns for Fall and Spring. Hours are flexible (around 10-20 a week).
Although the position is unpaid, we offer a variety of perks and educational opportunities, as well as opportunities to see Festival performances. As an organization committed to arts education, we are looking for candidates that can not only contribute to our marketing department, but also learn and grow from the opportunity to work with VAF.

Virginia International Tattoo Internships
Non-paying internships are available with the Administrative, Production and Operations departments of the Virginia International Tattoo.
These internships offer hands-on experience in working a variety of tasks. Candidates must have strong organizational skills, be able to multi-task, and meet project deadlines. All positions also require good written and verbal communication skills. Interns must be computer savvy and familiar with Microsoft Office programs including Word, Outlook, and Excel. An interest in international or cultural studies is a plus. The position requires working a minimum of 12 hours per week.

Hullabaloo Internship
Non-paying internships are available with the Hullabaloo.
This internship offers hands-on experience in working a variety of tasks. Candidates must have strong organizational skills, be able to multi-task, and meet project deadlines. All positions also require good written and verbal communication skills. Interns must be computer savvy and familiar with Microsoft Office programs including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
Duties and tasks include:
-Work directly with an Event Coordinator to help secure merchandise vendors, food vendors and community organizations to participate in Hullabaloo.
-Work with the on-site manager for set up/breakdown and coordination of performing acts.
-Plan and organize the Kids Zone activities.
The position requires working a minimum of 12 hours per week. An interest in event planning a plus.
