The Virginia International Tattoo recognizes policies enforced by Norfolk SCOPE Arena, which can be read here

Venue Policies

Attire: Casual dress is appropriate. Every year, we see people wearing ball caps to represent their military service, Tattoo swag, and even kilts!

April can be warm outside, but Scope Arena is home to the Norfolk Admirals, Norfolk's professional hockey team. It can be chilly in the arena and we recommend bringing a sweater or light coat.

Children any age are allowed. Everyone attending Virginia International Tattoo must have a ticket.

Folding/stadium chairs, outside food/beverages (including that bought at Hullabaloo), and cameras with detachable lenses are not allowed in Scope Arena. Non-professional, non-flash photography and videography are permitted. Please do not block any walkway with tripods or equipment. These items are allowed on Scope Plaza during Tattoo Hullabaloo, but not into Scope Arena. Items purchased from Hullabaloo vendors will need to be in bags when brought into Scope Arena.

Pets are not allowed on Scope Plaza during Hullaballoo. See venue policies regarding service animals.

The Virginia International Tattoo has many associated weekend events that are free and open to the public.
