Below you can find current Virginia Arts Festival policies.
Individuals should not attend if feeling sick or experiencing cold or flu-like symptoms, have been diagnosed with, or believe to have contracted, COVID-19, or have been in contact with an individual diagnosed with COVID-19 within the past 14 days.
Because COVID-19 is highly contagious, there is a risk of exposure in any place where people gather. Virginia Arts Festival is taking appropriate steps to create a safe environment for all patrons, artists, and staff. Attendees of Virginia Arts Festival events assume all risks associated with the possibility of exposure to or contracting of any illness.
Tickets for Virginia Arts Festival events may be purchased online at secure.vafest.org, over the phone at (757) 282-2822, or through a production or venue partner’s sales channels. There are many unapproved entities which claim to sell tickets to Virginia Arts Festival events, but Virginia Arts Festival is not liable for such purchases. When buying tickets, always be sure to use a legitimate sales channel.
All programs, artists, repertoire, prices, performance dates, times, and venues are subject to change. All sales are final. No refunds or exchanges. Additional fees apply to ticket prices shown.
No children under the age of 6 are permitted to Virginia Arts Festival events, except for Virginia International Tattoo, Williamsburg Live, Perry Pavilion events, or free events. Other events may have differing policies specified on the performance ticketing page. No babes in arms. Every individual, regardless of age, music have a ticket. Child discounts available for most performances.
Latecomers may be subject to delayed or relocated seating at the discretion of Front of House staff.
We understand that you must have confidence when deciding to purchase tickets to Virginia Arts Festival performances. The Festival is committed to flexibility for ticket-holders. If an event is canceled or postponed, we offer flexible exchanges to another event, exchanges for a gift certificate for future performance, the opportunity to support the Festival through a donation of the value of your tickets, or a full refund. Package tickets must be purchased as part of a single order to receive package discount (3 performances 10% off, 4 or more 15% off) and reduced fees (standard processing and credit card fees will be replaced with a flat $8 fee, plus any applicable venue fees).
Future purchases within the same season will receive a 15% add-on discount and are subject to all standard processing, credit card, and venue fees.
* Not all performances are eligible for discounts - these tickets will remain full price, but will count toward the total number of performances as part of a package.
Virginia Arts Festival presents events in many venues, which comply with the ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act). Virginia Arts Festival is committed to providing a safe, accessible, and compliant experience for all patrons. Should any such needs not be met, or special accommodations be required, please contact the Box Office prior to an event at (757) 282-2822.
Virginia Arts Festival seeks to foster a safe and enjoyable experience for all patrons, staff, and artists. Any behavior considered to impede these goals may be cause for dismissal of any individual at the discretion of Virginia Arts Festival or the host venue.
