The Virginia Arts Festival offers unparalleled opportunities to explore the beauty and power of the arts with your students, while inspiring you to enhance and expand your approach to teaching. Choose special student matinee performances to share the thrill of live performance in a theater or concert hall, then incorporate the experience into class discussions and projects that open your students' minds to new ways of learning, or schedule in-school performances or workshops that bring our renowned artists into your school to share their talents, their knowledge, and their experiences with your students.

The Virginia Arts Festival is committed to making the arts accessible to all students throughout our region. Thanks to generous donations from corporate sponsors, grant organizations, and individual donors, these programs are provided at a significantly reduced price. We will work with you in helping to find funding sources and scholarship options that will enable your class to participate in these unique cultural opportunities.
