The Organ Swell, 2012

Presented by the Tidewater Chapter of The American Guild of Organists
and the Virginia Arts Festival

Suggested minimum admission donation of $10 per adult, $5 per child per recital to assist in defraying the costs.  Due to the recording of the recitals, children under 5 will not be admitted.

The Tidewater Chapter of the American Guild of Organists announces its thirteenth annual series of weekday pipe organ recitals.  Come experience the soaring sounds of the pipe organ in the beauriful churches of Hampton Roads.  Compositions for organ and other intruments will feature outstanding organists from the region performing with Virginia Symphony Orchestra musicians.  The series provides a rare opportunity to hear these excellent VSO members as soloists.

Military Aviation Museum

Included in the price of the Flying PROMS  Symphonic Airshow Spectacular ticket is free admission to the Military Aviation Museum, home to one of the largest private collections of World War Two and World War One era fighters, bombers, trainers, and seaplanes. The main museum expands over 65,000 square feet and two hangars house a large collection of flying WWII aircraft. With our upper level viewing areas you can see the wide range of planes on display. Then take a walk around the planes themselves, get close up to see these magnificent flying machines beautifully restored to their former glory.
